I'm following many African twitter pages and I regularly get posts about this guy. He genuinely seems awesome in the stuff he's doing for Burkina Faso (please don't inform me if he's got shady/dark stuff going like the leader of Rwanda, I really like this guy); I think he's also said he liked Thomas Sankara and wanted to continue his plan/dream/something (I'm sorry, there's a lot of posts about Traore; I can't recall every word). Unfortunately he's also had a lot of attempts on his life, and sadly the guys who come after him only need to be successful once. I genuinely hope he's grooming many successors in case ~~France~~ whoever's coming after him ends up being successful.
With everything Burkina Faso has, by all measure they should be an extremely wealthy country; I genuinely hope Traore can succeed.
