biden is literally this archivist's boss and i've seen gov't employees get fired to force their bosses will and them get reinstated after they fought back with the knowledge that their boss ended up getting what they wanted anyways.
The GOP justices gave the president incredible powers. They did so 100% ignoring Biden's existence and hoping for a Trump presidency. I know it was an impossibility - but Biden could have done dozens and dozens of things like passing an executive order on cannabis, ignoring the archivist in this case, etc. This would have forced the GOP justices to shit or get off the pot by saying if such actions were constitutional or not.
But libs keep pretending that smol bean biden has no power. Man, is it convenient for them. This shit drives me crazy.
liberals focus on "rights" as if they aren't casually ignored whenever it's inconvenient for the dictatorship of capital. then when you bring up past blatant violations of those rights that went unaddressed they hit you with "well that was a long time ago, we're not like that now" or some other transparent dodge to avoid a troubling piece of evidence from like eight years ago
