[bug] seeing an issue where links can take a really long time to open (lemmy.dexlit.xyz)

Basically the title. I click a link and it takes forever to open. Doesn't matter the type of link. If I click a link multiple times then eventually N pages open all at once

been that way from the beginning to me. without any indication of progress I tap a few times and then get several new tabs on a substantial delay

I have the same issue. Tapping the link icon, however, opens the link immediately.

I've had the same issue and it was bad enough that I thought I was having problems on WG.

As it turns out something about Lemmy is causing a lot of hang ups and timeouts on Boost. Unfortunately I'm tired of waiting for the next update and I've moved to Jerboa for the time being as it is MUCH faster for me.

FWIW I was seeing slowdowns and lockups on Thunder recently out of nowhere too so it may not be confined to Boost. Jerboa does not seem to be affected, but may be lacking some of the features you like from Boost.

Hopefully the app is updated soon and hasn't been abandoned.
