“AI catch up”? To what? Which company is delivering AI features that are actually making money profitably, that they need to catch up to?

Well, my view of the Apple Intelligence changes is that they were a bit gimmicky. Notification summaries are more annoying than useful. Emoji generator is fun, but not really necessary.

The best feature is that you can now ask Siri to send your request to ChatGPT. Siri doesn’t seem much improved itself. Apple should put the bulk of its effort in to improving Siri.

Shareholders probably weren't happy that Apple is taking a cautious, more modest approach to AI and instead wants them to dump quadrillions into it instead like every other tech company.

Sarcastic hyperbole aside, I'm interested what this iPhone SE refresh looks like.
