What are my options for viewing them and possibly converting them into digital. A bit of looking online has shown me a few converters but all have horrible reviews what’s my best options both practical and cost wise?

Thanks!

There are services that will convert analog media to digital. No clue on cost but someone out there can do it for you if you don't want to invest in the needed hardware and time.

I’ve looked at a couple and I’m leaning towards this as there are only these 2 tapes I’d like to have converted

Do you have a computer? Do you have something to play the tapes on (like a VHS player with an adapter, or a VHS C camera with a video output cable)?

This would be the starting point. After that you will need a USB video capture box with RCA inputs.

Then you’ll need some software. So we will need to know what OS your computer is using (Linux, Windows, MacOS?).
