Original Title: Many sequels were recently announced for 2025, and what better way to advertise a sequel than to give away the last game? Here are some games I think we may see given away to generate hype for their upcoming sequels:

  1. The Outer Worlds ---> The Outer Worlds 2
  2. Doom (2016) ---> Doom The Dark Ages
  3. Borderlands 3/ The Handsome Collection ---> Borderlands 4
  4. Any Assassin's Creed ---> AC Shadows
  5. Death Stranding ---> Death Stranding 2
  6. GTA V ---> GTA 6
  7. Any Mafia game ---> Mafia The Old Country

I stuck to games already available on the EGS, and many of these have been given away before, so it's not unlikely to happen again. What games did I miss?
