LOL so what?

look at who you elected president-- why tf is "honesty" now a thing?

every fucking day that goes by, it becomes more apparent that the media outlets who used to be on our side are now just complete fucking bullshit.

this is NOT NEWS, and if it is, i'm going to go ahead and spoiler the forseeable future for everyone: EVERYONE trump adds to his team is a lying fucking wannabe conman rapist liar whose only objective is to benefit the 1% at the expense of the 99%

and yet...tomorrow we'll hear some 'shocking' news about yet another of trump's toadies being involved in some heinous bullshit-- to rawstory's surprise i'm sure

Corporate media executives are thrilled at the prospect of another Trump term because it gives their ratings a massive boost. Instead of falling for their profit-driven, rage-inducing headlines like last time, we could focus on coming together to support our local communities, fostering understanding, and building collective consciousness and solidarity.

Or, we could continue enabling their profit motives and relying on capital owners for help that never arrives. That’s an option too, I guess.

corporations were never your "friend"

but now everyone would do well to consider them to be "fucking enemy"

You’re right but I am sincerely surprised that they are backing away from these candidates instead of doubling down. I was certain that GOP Congress would let Trump get his way.

let Trump get his way.

he will get his way. if you doubt that, recall that he's a lying traitorous fraudster rapist bully, who has 100% control over his bitch troompa loompas. and he now has absolute power.

one thing you can do is stop wasting time reading articles about things you already know, e.g., "trump cabinet pick turns out to be an asshole"

what you should be doing is preparing yourself and your family for fascism

Dishonesty is a top qualification in that circle.

[–] Rentlar@lemmy.ca 3 points 6 hours ago

Sex offender is like a minimum qualification in Trump's cabinet.

Are you telling me someone who is paid to lie to everyone lied to someone during the process of being hired to a job where he will be expected to lie everyone?

[–] RizzRustbolt@lemmy.world 2 points 6 hours ago

Ben Franklin would whoop that guy's ass.

Trump: “I really don’t want to be president again, but I want my people to keep giving me money and attention, let’s do everything to make them fight my presidency so that I can’t get in, but can use that pity to cash in.”
