But despite their many impressive features, the devices can be taken down.

“You just have to spray it with Aqua Net hairspray in its ‘face’,” Cummings said. “And that would be enough to stop the cameras from working correctly.”

Because time travellers keep appearing with guns?

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 18 points 1 week ago

If they appeared with guns, wouldn't the robodogs also be strapped?

[–] gibmiser@lemmy.world 60 points 1 week ago

Shitty ass movie life

Shitty time travelers and their stormtrooper aim.

Somebody definitely fucked up the timeline and they send these untrained time-travellers to try and fix it (and failed miserably).

Now we get Black Mirror robot dogs.

[–] andrew_bidlaw@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 week ago

An assassination attempt was thwarted. The attempt itself never took place.

Planning to shoot the president is different than actually shooting at him.

That one seemed so fake lol

Feels like secret service needed a redemption after whatever happened the first time. So that's what they got 🤡

[–] db2@lemmy.world 13 points 1 week ago (1 children)

They were both fake. Magic healing ear.

[–] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 1 points 6 days ago (8 children)

I ain't shy of any tinfoil but this one didn't land.

What are you basing your position that the first one was also fake?
