Private company Terminal Autonomy started serial production of the AQ-400 kamikaze UAV. It has a range of 750km, can cruise at 140 km/h and is able to carry a 32kg payload, increasable to 72kg. They can produce 100 per month, aiming for 500.

The first batch has been delivered.

She's built like a steak house, but she handles like a Bistro.

This is what Ukraine needs. Expensive high tech weapons are great, but against an enemy like Russia, inexpensive high volume of fire is really important to maintain.

Agreed, I think for now Ukraine should scale back to purely defensive operations only attacking behind enemy lines with long range weapons such as these. Much cheaper in terms of weapons/lives, and as long as Russia works the meat grinder, the war will lose popularity in Russia. No nation can keep up an offensive war forever. It will be a long haul, but one that I think Ukraine can win.

I thought this was NonCredibleDefense. They look like you sit in the middle and pedal.

They're not much to look at but 32kg can kill a bunch of invaders

32kg is ballpark of Shahed warhead, or a bit less than 155mm shell (45kg)

Two or three to the same target pretty sure can fuck up a lot of stuff.

32kg payload?! According to Wikipedia RPG7 warheads are around 2-4.5kg. Hmm...

72kg version too

It's AQ-400 Scythe, not kamikaze. They're produced domestically by Ukraine.
