Recently I couldn't get my legitimately installed copy of microsoft office 2013 to open.... word, powerpoint, excel all wouldn't work.
Turns out microsoft just decided to pull the plug on these programs. As far as I understand, this just means that office 2013 just has no/less security features making it more vulnerable, but other than that.... why not just let me open it?
Oh and also that "life time valid" download cd is now worthless.
I knew they had been doing this with free programs for a while, microsoft paint and windows movie maker being (in)famous ones, but now it's programs that you literally paid for to be valid for a "lifetime"? Why is nobody mad about that? No wonder people turn to "the 7 seas" for their stuff now....
