No you can solve 3/4ths of your problems

Would that make Zeno's Wank just a type of edging?

if you learn how to solve zeno’s problem in the first book, it may be possible to solve 100% of your problems in the second book

[–] Rusty@lemmy.ca 22 points 2 months ago (1 children)

If you buy 5 books, you'll be able to solve 96.88% of your problems.

[–] MentalEdge@sopuli.xyz 12 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Or you could just read the one book eight times for 99.6℅. Why buy more than one when one is enough to read as many times as you like?

that’s some mighty fine fiscal responsibility, right there

[–] ulterno@lemmy.kde.social 1 points 2 months ago

Well guess what? That was an e-book and you only get to read once.

This all hinges on when you count the number of problems you have. But that's why you have two eyes! Read the same page of books 1 and 2 in parallel and obliterate 100% of your problems.

I disagree. If one book solves half of your problems at random and the other does the same, that's still 75% on average, and 25% on average will have 2 solutions.

SMH, that's not how books work. What a complete waste of money. You only needed to buy one copy, to then read it twice.

[–] XTL@sopuli.xyz 2 points 2 months ago

Then you can give it to someone else to read or sell it and even more people can read it.

[–] Tylerdurdon@lemmy.world 24 points 2 months ago

I mean, it's still only 75% solved.

[–] cRazi_man@lemm.ee 18 points 2 months ago (2 children)

That still only solves 75% of your problems. You'll need to buy an infinite number of books to get to 100%.

[–] stupidcasey@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Unfortunately math was in the remaining 25% of problems

[–] Tartas1995@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 2 months ago

Technically 0% of their problems and 100% of their former problems.

[–] bhamlin@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

You need to make sure you buy them from different places, otherwise they might each solve the same problems!

[–] konalt@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago

Poor Zeno has so many problems

[–] Bakkoda@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 months ago

According to a crazy person i know that breeds "wolf dogs" you now have 2500% problem solving abilities.
