Original Title: I've collected ~140 little known Linux performance Optimizations in my Wordpress Performance Optimization Gdoc that should increase FPS, speed up network performance as well as extend Battery Life on Steam OS

This section is dense enough where I feel it's finally time to post this on this sub! There are about 140 little known Linux performance optimizations that I've been collecting for optimizing WordPress Pagespeed Performance that should be applicable to the Steam Deck which should substantially increase FPS, improve network stability and download speeds, as well as Battery life.

Many of these are untested on an actual Steam Deck due to the volume of research that I've done trying to find these optimizations as I'm absolutely obsessed with website performance optimization (I like to make them go zoom zoom), but considering how far I dove I felt compelled to share.

Please let me know in the comments which commands worked for you, and I will compile them all onto a public Github repo. If any commands are problematic, I'll create reversion commands for them, and put an explicit note that they are not for Steam OS.

Edit: I've created a Github repo specifically for these optimizations, formatting is a WIP but for now I've space separated all of the descriptions from the commands with a blank line between them.

The formatting on the gdoc is much better than the Github repo if the table of contents is opened via the hamburger menu icon on the top left on Desktop

Both the github text file and gdoc are downloadable. The github text file only contains the linux performance optimizations.

There are minor adjustments in the github text file which specify which commands are only for VPS's serving websites and not general Linux performance (there are only a few that are specific to VPS's).

In the second revision (whenever I get to it), I'm going to separate out the VPS and GRUB bootloader only commands into separate text files on the repo.

Also please let me know what your performance and battery life uplift have been after running these commands, would be very useful information for me.

Edit 2:

If I can get some clarity and verification from the community here on which commands do and don't work, I can compile a script with the known good commands so they can be applied all at once. Don't want to do so yet until I get some feedback on if any commands cause a negative impact.
