"Good news! It's remote. You can WFH."

"But we expect to pay you Oklahoma wages while you live in Seattle."

Alternatively: we will send you a check, go and get office supplies you need then wire us back the remaining amount.

The check will bounce.

That's not my experience, those WFH job offers from far away usually have pretty high pay checks but also ridiculous amounts of responsibility. Like, they will pay 40k a month on some crypto thing, but then you are required to be available 24/7, and yes, they will call at 3am regularly

$230/hr. on W-2, with benefits, and I get to extract money from/sabotage some crypto cunts? Where do I sign?

Or are these "offers" just additional scams?
