The southern tip of Isla Blanca Park on South Padre Island is one of the ideal places to watch this from. Bring ear protection if you make the trip.

My wife and I watched the Falcon 9 launch from Epcot a couple of weeks ago. It felt like the most American retro futurist thing I'll ever experience.

So jealous, I was sitting on the steps of the Hard Rock Cafe there a while back waiting for a launch that was ultimately postponed. One day I’ll catch one.
