You mean the democratic socialist, an inherently anti-authoritarian party, is calling out authoritarians?

Is it going to be news when he condems Xixing Ping and Putin and Netanyahu, and the Iranian Shah, and Saudi Royal family, and well you get the picture.

Fuck authority that doesn't earn it.

Chiching Ping isnt his name, but that is hilarious

Its Xi Jinping

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 7 points 3 days ago (4 children)

I don't actually remember how to spell it because whenever I call him Winnie the Pooh it summons the CCP bot army calling that racist and I forget. Maybe this will be the time.

[–] Kefla@hexbear.net 9 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yeah I just call this Asian leader yellow so often that when I'm not calling him yellow I call him mr removed, I'm not racist btw

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 0 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Man you guys really need to try new things. You damn well know it wasn't because Winnie the Pooh is yellow. And you damn well know it was started in the real China anyway.

[–] Kefla@hexbear.net 8 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yeah you're really the best person to prove that this isn't a racist thing, considering how extremely not racist you come across when you aren't calling him a yellow cartoon character

[–] Redacted@lemmy.zip 0 points 2 days ago (1 children)

They dont say it because hes yellow, they say it because his face is the same shape as winnies, but you know that.

[–] Kefla@hexbear.net 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

What I know is that this is a bunch of bullshit made up to cover for overt racism

[–] Redacted@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago

No it wasnt, it was a meme made in china by chinese people about their chinese leader, if you take offense to the meme take it up with China.

[–] Belly_Beanis@hexbear.net 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Except it was intended to be racist because the meme was about Xi being Pooh and Obama being Tigger.

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social -1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I knew that part, but why was Tigger racist for Obama?

[–] BelieveRevolt@hexbear.net 6 points 2 days ago

Seriously? Think about what rhymes with Tigger. I'm starting to think you aren't the best arbiter of what is or isn't racist.

[–] vanDerVaartBlackenedRanch@hexbear.net 9 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Only a foreign propaganda bot could think I am being racist! i-love-not-thinking

[–] NuclearDolphin@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 days ago

Yeah but he's yellow and built like a bear.

No, I'm not a reactionary. Why do you ask?

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social -1 points 2 days ago

No, that's just the hexbear part.

No other instance seems to do it.

[–] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 days ago

It is racist, you are racist

I thought it was a cash register sound with the ping left over for how much he personally benefits from his position.

[–] Alcoholicorn@mander.xyz 1 points 2 days ago

Are you confusing Xi with Deng/Hu?

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 0 points 2 days ago (1 children)

To be fair, I spelled it Xi jingping.

I don't understand how we got Chichong Ping from my missspelling but here we are

[–] SinAdjetivos@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

To be fair, that is how @ToastedRavioli@midwest.social responded to your comment and I assumed it was the same mispelling.

That's my bad for not checking, sorry.
