No cap, I forgot what community I was in, and was hoping for tips for finding the fun ones.
If what Eminem taught me is true, you should be hanging around cows for that.
That's actually true for some variety of it
At least for P. Cubensis. But e.g. the liberty cap will grow just somewhere in grass land - as far as I know, not living in the region and not much of a hunter myself
But cow dung mushrooms were the topic of some friends in my youth. So I guess, that is a good place to start
Well, thank you for the education! I'm not in that culture and doubt that I will be (no judgement, I'm just not involved), so everything I know about it is from that one Eminem song I referenced.
I didn't even know the basic facts about more mundane mushrooms until some started growing in my front yard and I asked co-workers.
Mushrooms are actually awesome - in every way, not just psychedelic
One of the coolest kind of species we have on earth
But I don't know much either, just scratching the surface - but with excitement ;-)
