This kind of sleep is not actually restorative and it ends up training your brain into making it even harder to wake up in the morning.

For me its the opposite and you are only waking up like a 5 seconds to hit snooze, you fall back asleep instantly. You might find yourself going to bed 30 minutes earlier or something but who cares? I dont fight sleep so that helps. I really enjoy my sleep. I also enjoy the morning time now because im super comfortable for like 30 minutes before i go to work as my mind slowly wakes up.

I'm happy this works for you but it would fuck my brain up royally. When the alarm goes off my brain tries to wake up and after a bit I will go back to sleep. A second alarm 10 minutes later will then fully wake me up but i have 3 back ups with completely different ring tones so my brain doesn't get used to them and just block them out. I also choose pleasant yet attention grabbing tunes to avoid the blocking out problem. You'd be surprised at how effectively your brain can block a sound it doesn't like. It's why I've long avoided getting the alarms with the typical alarm sound.

That only happens to me, the blocking out, if i get less then like 5 1/2 hours of sleep.

Then you lead a charmed life because it is pretty much impossible for me to get more than 5 1/2 hours of sleep.

Dont be in a hurry when you get less sleep time goes by faster and the years fly by, but if you sleep alot the days are slow and easy and the years go by like eons.

LoL, you say all this like I have a choice. I literally cannot sleep past 5 1/2 hours. My body and brain won't allow it. I take melatonin just to get that much.

Stop taking melatonin and get a job.
