If somebody cracks jokes about your sovereignty believe them.

Putin started by saying Ukraine is not a real country...

So while I agree with you and I think we as a nation need to prepare, I think there are some subtle differences here.

  1. Canada and the U.S. are allies (in theory)

  2. Canada is a part of NATO, which the U.S. is still a member of

  3. Canada is a part of the G7, which the U.S. is also a part of.

  4. Canada has never been a part of the U.S. and left.

  5. Ukraine was originally a part of the USSR which Putin is desperately trying to put back together.

  6. Russia wants control of Ukraine and for them to not be a part of the EU or NATO.

2 different countries, but I still do agree with you that we as a country need to start using our low end booze, and even American bourbon to start preparing at home small batch artisanal Molotov cocktails.

I don’t see the U.S. invading militarily. They’re already severing ties with the world and it hasn’t even been a month.

This won’t end well for America. They’d take on so much debt to fight a war which not many people want.

Could be wrong though, I’m certainly no expert in anything.

Ukraine existed before the USSR and Tasrist Russia.

It was an occupied territory.

Well there you go. Learn something new everyday. Honestly I had no idea, so thanks a ton for that. I’ll have to read more into it.

Very much appreciate you setting me straight.
