I don't care if they released almost 10 years ago, seeing The Witcher 3 and Batman Arkham Knight running on a Steam Deck at high settings was amazing. Both are still demanding games and seeing them look and even run how they do on here is insane.

However the one game that truly blew my mind running as good as it does on Deck is Red Dead Redemption II. Like goddamn that was fucking stunning. Then there's Cyberpunk and Elden Ring as well. I also recently bought God of War, Spider-Man, and the Crysis Trilogy.

Honestly this device continues to impress me with its capabilities. Since I'm not really buying any new titles at the moment, plus I want to give my significant other the TV to watch her shows, the Steam Deck is my preferred gaming device right now over the current gen consoles and probably my favorite gaming platform ever.

Grim Dawn is on sale for 80% off, a steal at 4.19 for anyone who likes an ARPG.

Throughout my gaming life, I’ve never really got into a ‘action role’ playing type of game… Usually your Call of Duty fifa gta assassin creed (you get my drift)

Anyway I’ve got a steam deck and feel like I’m kinda wasting it, I travel worldwide for a job so lots of flights.. lots of hotels..

Can you guys recommend a game with a good story in to, don’t care how hard or complex a story is, any genre, even if I have to buy past titles just something to

Just curious because of the sound related questions popping up, growing up I wasn’t allowed to play games with sound on and I’ve just continued that into adulthood. Occasionally I’ll have sound on if I hear a particular game has a good soundtrack or to see what folks are talking about when they reference a well known sound byte but I usually end up muting it again.

So how many of us play without sound typically?

I have a 14 hour flight coming up later this month and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a game that could be beaten during the duration of my flight? Alternatively, I'm thinking of games you can play for 14 hours straight non stop. So far I was considering borderlands, assassin's creed, Ghost of Tsushima and The Witcher 3

Or just let it be connected to the wifi until I’m out of range? I’m currently playing a Denuvo game and I’m worried that once I get out of internet range I might not be able to startup the game again. So far the game is open and I just let it on sleep mode and not exit. But I also have to play other games so I’m worried that if I quit the game I won’t be able to launch it back until there is reliable internet.

Any inputs on this? Thanks guys.
