Waaaay back in 2014 we partnered with Adult Swim Games to release our humble lil TD/puzzler game where you play a dark lord villain defending your castle from pesky heroes trying to save the princess you captured!

We were fortunate enough to have gotten that ASG publishing partnership back then (so some of you may remember it!) but sadly their division shut down a few years later due to the mergers and takeovers that happened with Cartoon Network. Much to our dismay, this caused the game to get delisted from all platforms.

Afterwards we worked hard for years to obtain the full rights ourselves to the game we were so proud of and loved, and this finally happened in late 2022!

Since then we've remade the original game from the ground-up, PLUS added all new content like unlockable cosmetics systems (deck our your castle with stolen loot from the heroes, which also come with their own equipable "Baddie Bonus" perks!), AND an all new roguelite mode where your castle changes with every run and you collect new "Nightmare powers" along the way as you grow your trap and minion arsenal!

If you're able to throw us a wishlist, this would help us so much as we try to get our game back out into the world after a long journey! I'm also happy to answer any questions about the game and development!

Created by some of the minds behind Steven Universe: Unleash the Light, INK INSIDE is the CO-OP action RPG with the heart of a Saturday Morning Cartoon! Play as Stick (Brian David Gilbert) an unfinished doodle trapped in an old children's notebook trying to discover who they are. Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Regular Show and more were a huge inspiration for us when we worked on their games at Grumpyface Studios. So we wanted to make a new game that felt like you were playing a Cartoon Network show. To do that, we formed "Blackfield Entertainment" where we turned a rejected Nickelodeon pitch into an indie game with an incredible cast of voice actors, including Brian David Gilbert, Deneen Melody, and Ryan Cooper!

You can fight back against the invading “Sog” by hitting them in the face with dodgeball “CORES!” Hold and aim your attack before letting go at just the right time to trigger unique weapon “perks” - then get in close and knock the wet out of them with a melee combo. Use more unique cores and combo attacks in action-packed dodgeball-meets-beat-em-up style combat that will see you dodging patterns of projectiles, using specials, and mastering a unique form of action RPG combat!

Get even more buff by collecting new gear, unlocking stronger abilities, and filling your COOL MOVES bar to BREAK THE RULES and deal extra damage by smashing through the invisible wall protecting your enemies.

Explore sprawling, gorgeously illustrated worlds, from the Fuzzball Forest to the Cloud Factory to meet and recruit a colorful team of characters to help you on your journey. From the dependable Detective Fuzz to Traff, the Princess of Cursing, who hits like a truck and talks like a truck driver, there’s plenty of characters to meet and loot to discover!

Controllers work great and so does the STEAM Deck!

The gameplay revolves around patients coming to you with unsettling symptoms—some they’ll describe, while others you’ll notice visually or diagnose using tools. You’ll consult your Book of Medicine, which offers hints and narrows down potential treatments, but ultimately, you’ll need to experiment with different medicines to see what works. Sometimes, your patients get cured; other times… they don’t make it.

All the while, a Lovecraftian story unfolds in the background, mixed with eerie Anomalies and Sanity management elements.

As the days pass, the doctor discovers that the village harbors layers of deceit. While most residents live ordinary lives, a shadowy cult worshiping the Great Old One manipulates events to ensure that once in a Red Moon ritual succeeds.

Caught in this cosmic struggle, Doctor Herbert (you) must navigate the conflicting agendas of the cult, the witch, the villagers, and the eldritch horrors. Every decision — whether to trust, resist, or manipulate — brings the doctor closer to uncovering the island’s secrets.

In Do No Harm, survival hinges on the player’s ability to balance medicine, deduction, and their fraying sanity while facing the ultimate choice—to heal, to harm, or to flee.
