This post is not related other previously published posts. But I want to know your opinions.

This debate does not focus on "which technology is better" or "which has better support", rather it focuses on which of these two technologies seems more acceptable in terms of privacy policy and user information management (on his respective toolchain, compiler, etc).

Simon Caine is an English award-winning comedian, writer, author, podcaster and human based in Edinburgh Scotland. He makes a video a week, released every Sunday.

Over the last decade, he's performed all over the world, from London to NYC to Australia. His most recent show "every room becomes a panic room when you overthink enough" got 5* reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe where he sold out the run.

Previously he opened for Trevor Lock, Ben Miller and Henry Ginsberg as well as gigged on the same bill as people like Terry Alderton, Mark Dolan, Matthew Crosby and Bec Hill.

He's been featured in the Huffington Post “Tweets of the Week” feature several times and had jokes/writing appeared in The Poke and other publications. He hates writing in the third person.

Hi,

In Spain (and probably other places in Europe) we've recently seen a deluge of cookie banners that offer you the option to reject tracking cookies for a fee. The regular GDPR forms are therefore slightly broken, as you get several options: accept, reject (which doesn't work in most cases), and buy a subscription to reject. Consent-O-Matic, for example, is having a hard time. I don't doubt it'll get corrected in time, but I want to talk about something tangential.

Cookie consent has (at least) two layers: the browser layer (where we might delete cookies, reject third party cookies, etc) and the site UI layer (where we're presented with an option when we load the page). This means we can reject third-party cookies at the browser layer and then accept whatever form at the site UI layer.

With the set up mentioned above, is there really any difference between accepting cookies and rejecting cookies? No tracking cookie are going to get installed in my computer anyway. This, combined with an ad blocker, makes the browsing experience exactly the same whether I accept or reject the cookie form. Is there anything I'm missing here?

Google pulls Binance, other global crypto apps from India store

FIU, an Indian government agency that scrutinizes financial transactions, late last month issued show cause notices to nine crypto firms and alleged that they weren’t compliant with India’s anti-money laundering rules. Apple pulled the apps earlier this week and various telecom networks and internet service providers began blocking the URLs of the crypto exchange websites Thursday evening.

Due to my line of work, I find myself having to use both these services frequently, despite avoiding google as much as I can. I see a lot of alternatives out there for internet searching, but when it comes to specific fields, alternatives tend to be scarce.

I want to buy a new car, but it needs to be privacy friendly. Sadly you cannot really buy any new Car that is.

Has anybody any experience on making your modern car not phone home to its company, by removing the hardware it uses to do?
